BTCL internet in Tongi will normalize after Tuesday
The state-owned broadband internet service BTCL telephone transmission line will be temporarily closed for the next two days. As a result, landline and internet services in the area will remain closed till Tuesday, September 17, informed the BTCL authority.
Mir Mohammad Morshed, General Manager, BTCL said in this regard that due to cable shifting work in the over alignment of Station Road, Tongi Flyover area of BRT project, the Internet will be temporarily off from January 13 to January 17.
The areas where land phone and internet services may be affected are Tongi Bazar, BSIC, TeShiS, Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Honda area.
However, every effort is being made to keep the telephone and internet services running while the shifting work is being done. It is hoped that the telephone and internet service lines will be operational by January 18,” he added.
